A woman smiling and crouching down next to a golden retriever on a forest trail, both appearing happy; the woman is wearing a black cap, dark sunglasses, a gray hoodie, and black pants, with a dog leash in her hand. The trail is surrounded by green trees and foliage.

A bit about me outside of the room

When I am not in session, I enjoy getting my hands dirty. Give me a wall to knock down, or tile to redo and I am there! When I am not geeking out on power tools, I am geeking out on books. I enjoy hiking with my husband of 23 years, our three adult children and our golden retriever. My commitment as a therapist is fueled by my love of learning and a deep passion to support those I care about.

My background

I’ve spent 18 years in a supportive role for children and families of special needs.

Outside of my work as a private practice owner, I work in emergency psychiatric services as a crisis specialist.
