Brainspotting Therapy
Specialized, trauma-informed care
Helping teens and adults process trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions at a deeper level.
It is still there, despite your best efforts to move past it.
If You’re still struggling with:
Anxiety that won’t settle
Emotional overhelm
Trauma
Brainspotting can help you release what words can’t reach.
This specialized approach helps access and process what’s stored deeper in the nervous system, beyond what talk therapy can always reach. Brainspotting identifies and processes experiences stored in the brain and body, allowing for meaningful and lasting change.
-
Brainspotting draws on the link between eye position, the nervous system, and emotional processing. By focusing attention on specific eye positions, the brain is able to access and process experiences that may not have been fully resolved.
-
Sessions are calm, collaborative, and paced around what feels right for you. We begin with a brief check-in, then use Brainspotting to help your attention settle on what your system is ready to process. You stay fully present the entire time, and there is no pressure to talk through everything—your experience leads the work.
-
Brainspotting helps you work through experiences that feel stuck in the nervous system, rather than just thinking about them differently. As processing happens, many people notice a gradual shift—less anxiety, more emotional steadiness, and a stronger sense of internal space and ease.

who it’s for
Brainspotting is for you if…
You’ve done some personal or therapeutic work, but still feel like certain things haven’t fully shifted
Anxiety, stress, or emotional reactivity feels like it shows up in your body, not just your thoughts
There’s a sense of heaviness, numbness, or disconnection that’s hard to fully explain
You’re curious about approaches that go deeper than talking things through alone
You’re open to working with both the mind and the body in the healing process
who it’s not for
Brainspotting is not for you if…
You’re looking for a highly structured, step-by-step, skills-based approach
You prefer very directive sessions where you’re told exactly what to do throughout
You’re not currently interested in exploring body-based or experiential therapy
You need immediate crisis support or stabilization before deeper processing work
You’re not ready for a slower, more internal process
together,we will:
Explore
what feels unresolved in your system and gently support the process of bringing it into awareness, so it can begin to shift and integrate.
Uncover
whats been running in the background of your experience.
Regain
a greater sense of calm and internal balance.
Please know this:
Your system has the capacity to change, even if it hasn’t done it yet.
-
It can support a range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that feel hard to shift even after working on them in other ways.
-
It varies for each person. Some people notice shifts within a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work depending on what they’re processing.
-
Yes, when practiced with a trained therapist. You are always in control during the session, and we go at a pace that feels manageable for your nervous system.
